When I first moved here I was really lonely. I came here for a job and to be honest, I didn’t know anyone so it was tough for me to go out or eat dinner with people or whatever. The people at my job were nice but they were much older and I just had a hard time making friends. I watched a lot of TV on my CannonSatellite.com and I did a lot of upgrades to my adorable little house, so that kept me busy, but after about 6 months I knew I needed to do something to make some friends. I joined an adult kickball league and I decided to start volunteering at a church near my house and that really opened the floodgates. People were coming at me left and right and they were all so friendly and nice! I’m just loving it here now that I’m really part of a community and I know that people would miss me if I were to move. That’s the sign!
