Varoooom!

I took a snapshot of my neighbor’s toys. The Polaris RZR accessories on this thing are just amazing. One small problem and I’m not sure if it was the RZR or the dirt bike in the background but bikes don’t make for pleasant additions to your song when the neighbor keeps going up and down the street and you don’t notice! I was working on a solo in Garage Band and when I go to track it back, all I can hear is motor reving! It was quite annoying because I couldn’t get rid of it. It was loud enough for the mic to pick up but I missed it with my ear!

Alice in Chains still rules!

So I'm at a family gathering this last weekend trying to look like I'm paying attention to the conversation going on around me and I find myself staring at amusement at the Rooster dinnerware my mashed potatoes were sitting on because I kept playing "rooster" from Alice in Chains over and over and over in my head. I loved AIC and was really bummed when the singer was found dead.

However, if you hop on over to the Alice in Chains website they have the video posted from their fist full length album with their new singer and man, this guy is a dead ringer! Some people might think it's lame to find a copy cat singer but if you were an AIC fan you know Lane was the reason people listened! Great guitar, killer drums but seriously, the tone of Lane's voice was killer! I can;t wait until this album drops!
