Deadly Axe "Waterfall EXP"

This Waterfall Explorer was completed by a guy on the Project Guitar forum who goes by killemall8. I've been more and more impressed with his work lately and I feel he has really captured the essence of a true explorer with this build. I've personally never been a huge explorer fan but this one I would play! Keep up the great work dude, you deserve the win!

He's also posted the axe up for the guitar of the month. Check it out and vote for him if you think he's worthy of the win!

The police!

Nope, not the band, more like the real deal! I’ve been busy upgrading my Mustang lately and when I took it out for a ride last night I immediately got pulled over by a cop all decked out in his sports sunglasses, police blues and a lot of flashing lights! Apparently he didn’t like my speed, squealing tires or the fact that I chose not to put on my seat belt! Oh, he didn’t like my choice of music either!

With all that being said, it was pretty cool because he just let me off with a warning. I was stunned to say the least but off I went with a big grin on my face! That’s the first time I ever got out of a ticket.

Magformer Guitars

I’m a bit annoyed. I wanted to pick up a guitar themed Magformer for my kids but they don’t make them. I thought it would be cool for them to be able to construct several little guitars from them. It would be sort of building their own guitar just like daddy used to do. However, I was pretty stoked when I found the Magformer XL. It allows them to build their own little hotrods which is something daddy is doing right now! In with the new, out with the old I guess!

Say goodbye to an old friend!

Well, I said goodbye to a friend. I decided my need for performance parts for my new Mustang and my need for Teryx suspension upgrades surpassed my need for my Ibanez Jem Floral Steve Vai guitar. I know, I went on and on about how much I wanted it but in the end, it just sat in the case and never got played. So, it went to a new home. I was happy to see that the new owner had wanted this guitar as long as I did and he was quite happy when it showed up at his house! I' was a bit sad but I've gotten over it.

Ouch! Watch your step buddy!

I figured out why people shouldn’t use a peninsula display at a guitar show. I was at a guitar festival this weekend and I was walking down a row of displays with several packs of Ernie Ball strings, a couple of old pedals I picked up and a Pignose amp for a friend and all of a sudden some guy’s peninsula display jumped out, grabbed my feet and all of my treasure went scattering all about the place. I hurt my ankle in the process too. I was a little annoyed at the set up. It looked like the guy had built the set himself to display his collection of used ear he had for sale at the show. He had a nice old Gibson and I asked him if he was going to give it to me for free for my trouble. He wasn’t as friendly about it as I was!
