Okay, first off I'm changing the DDA to the DA. Unfortunately with my insanely busy schedule I just don't have as much time as I'd like to surf the net in search of that killer axe. So, when I get time, I'll update the the blog with new awesome guitars!
With that being said, I'd like to introduce this Ibanez! I love how simple this neck through, one pickup string through it. Those star inlays are wicked and this looks to be a solid common S shape axe !

Daily Deadly Axe "Jesse in Oz"

This is cool! The first Strandberg custom guitar with the new bridge that he designed! The metal flake just adds to the coolness of this guitar! The bridge alone makes this guitar worthy of the DDA label! Keep up the good work Mr. Standberg!

It's really a sad day
If you simply do an image search in Google for “guitar” you’ll likely come up with Guitar Hero controllers then actual pictures of guitars. Where are we going when it’s more fun to sit and pretend to play guitars then to actually string one up and play it? I’ve talked to a lot of friends who have been long time players and all they talk about is the new Metallica update they got a few months ago then actually learning the new Metallica songs! Well, maybe that part isn’t so bad but seriously…we need to figure this out!

Daily Deadly Axe"Washburn Idol"

I came across this Washburn Idol while doing some searching online. What struck me about this axe is how the finish really popped the curves on the carved top. This would look great on stage in dim lighting where the stage lights really reflect off of sharp lines. Washburn gets little credit for building great guitars but the Idol series has been a real winner for them. A quick heads up: new blog
Most of the guitar or music gear junkies that I know are also car junkies so I thought I would share with everyone a new blog I’ll be updating on occasion. It’s called “Me and My Mustang” and it will chronicle all of my dastardly deeds in my new 2006 Mustang. I rarely talk about it on this blog but I’m an avid car guy that loves his Mustang, big rock crawlers and even those off road Polaris vehicles. You’ll often see me online bartering for Polaris RZR accessories and now you’re going to see me online scouring for those power building Mustang parts! So, if you’d like to see me take a stock 210 HP V6 Mustang and turn it into a 500 HP monster then hope on over and book mark me!
Be kind, the website is a bit of a WIP and will be set up completely over the next few days.

Daily Deadly Axe "Redeemer Basses"

Today's Daily Deadly Axe is a killer bass from Redeemer Basses. What really strikes me about this bass is the multi-laminate body and those awesome oval pickups! Scotty D from Redeemer Basses likes to put a hard cot on the top of the body and an oil finish on the back. This dual finish combination makes this a unique bass with a cool feel. This body will balance perfectly and has enough weight to let you know you're a real bass player!
I thought this was a cool gift

A friend of mine just gave me a Jimi Hendrix candle in a tin. In my house we have candles burning just about 24/7. My better half loves them! Although she prefers Beanpod candles to help get rid of the dog smell from our stinky boxer she agreed to let me display the Jimi candle on the dining room hutch! With some quick searching it's easy to find rock inspired anything on the internet but I thought the Jimi candle was a cool idea! Even if Lisa didn't think it was such a cool idea!
The Guitar inovation collective

Sorry for the lack of posting DDA material over the last week. Unfortunately I've been requested to work over nights on the company's industrial exhibit for an upcoming show that we'll be attending. I have to spend the next 12 weeks working 8:45 PM to 5:15 AM! Not fun! So while I'm ajusting to the new shift I'll likey be a little sparce in posting.
With that being said, I leave you with an intersting site that I just came across. It's called "The Guitar Inovation Collective and as anoying as the website it, it makes for an interesting read!

Daily Deadly Axe "D. Evan's Designs"

Here ia a great looking semi-hollow body guitar from D.Evans Designs. It's a wonderful example of elegance on a bolt on guitar. Top quality build materials. That Koa top is stunning. Koa like this is not only expensive, it's very hard to find in quality like this! The top alone makes it a Deadly Axe! I also love the F-Holes (if you can call them that.) This is truely a great looking axe!

Daily Deadly Axe "AF Guitars"

Want a strat sound with a bit of Brian May tone thrown in without the awful plastic pickguard to muck things up? Well AF Guitars can hook you up with this awesome Black Limba triple single coil axe that has a genuine UK appeal. It should, it's made in the UK! This is one of those guitars that I'd be happy to play!

Daily Deadly Axe "Chambered Bass"
Well it's about time!

This blog is totally unrelated to guitars or music but it will explain why I've been absent for the last few days and most of the guitar players I know are car guys too! About a month ago I had some health problems and after the dude in the white lab coat told me I had to change my life style (exercise, healthy eating and all that stuff) I figured it was a good time to have a mid life crisis! Also, my goof old trusty Ford F-150 was not longer trusty so it was time for a new work beater.
My good friends at Gilboy Ford hooked me up with this 2006 Ford Mustang! It's a 4.0 manual transmission and even had a Shaker stereo system. Hey, see? This post is music related! This is my first Mustang and with that lime green paint job I have to say I love this car! So, please forgive me for my lack of DDA!
